This institutional AI policy is being endorsed by the Executive Board and the University Council and will be shaped based on legal frameworks, UU frameworks and our academic values. At UU we use the term Responsible AI by which we mean the ethical and responsible application of AI systems and tools. This is not limited to Generative AI but applies to all forms of AI.
