Krav til opplysning om KI-bruk og unntak

Erklæringen om originalitet ved ETH Zurich gir to alternativer: å bekrefte at ingen generativ KI er brukt, eller å bekrefte at autorisert generativ KI er brukt og at bruken og oppgivelsen er avtalt med veileder. Bachelor- og masteroppgaver krever en signert erklæring om originalitet, mens kravene til andre skriftlige vurderinger avhenger av gjeldende faglige retningslinjer. Doktorgradskandidater erklærer selvstendig forfatterskap gjennom påmeldingsprosessen til doktorgradseksamen. Tillatt bruk, format for oppgivelse og eventuelle unntak må følge kravene fra relevant veileder og enhet. ETH Zurichs retningslinjer for undervisning instruerer studenter om å være åpne om bruken av generativ KI og å angi hvilke verktøy som bidro til hvilke deler av arbeidet, i samsvar med gjeldende instrukser fra faglærer og sitatkonvensjoner. For vitenskapelig skriving og oppgaver bør studenter på forhånd avtale med veilederne hvilken KI-bruk som er autorisert, og hvilke krav til oppgivelse som gjelder. Retningslinjene fra ETH-biblioteket anerkjenner et unntak der en veileder uttrykkelig har godkjent at en bestemt KI-bruk ikke trenger å oppgis separat. Uten slik avtale kan ikke-oppgitt bruk utgjøre et brudd på akademisk integritet.

Begrensninger for bestemte omfang

Opplasting av strengt konfidensiell informasjon til eksterne sky-KI-tjenester er forbudt. Konfidensiell informasjon kan kun behandles i særskilt evaluerte konfigurasjoner (slik som M365 Copilot Work-modus uten nettsøk). M365 Copilot Chat er godkjent for interne data. Googles KI-verktøy er ennå ikke vurdert av CISO (vurdering OPEN) og er ikke frigitt for ETH-konfidensielle, strengt konfidensielle eller beskyttede personopplysninger. Opphavsrett og personvern må respekteres til enhver tid.

ETH Zurich anbefaler Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini og Google NotebookLM til undervisningsformål. Grunnleggende chatversjoner er inkludert i institusjonelle abonnementer på Microsoft 365 og Google Workspace uten kostnad for studenter og ansatte. De gir databeskyttelse for bedrifter der brukerdata ikke brukes til modelltrening. Google-verktøyene har ennå ikke fullført CISO-vurderingen (OPEN), så tilgang til et produkt er ikke godkjenning for dataklassifisering. Tilgang til verktøy er ikke det samme som tillatelse i vurderinger. Faglærere avgjør tillatelsene i vurderingene.

Generative KI-verktøy kan ikke oppføres som forfattere eller siteres som autoritative kilder. Avhandlinger krever signerte originalitetserklæringer; doktorgradskandidater erklærer selvstendig forfatterskap ved oppmelding til doktorgradseksamen. Forskere må overholde gjeldende retningslinjer fra finansiører (f.eks. SNSF) og utgivere.

Må jeg opplyse om bruk av KI?

Erklæringen om originalitet ved ETH Zurich gir to alternativer: å bekrefte at ingen generativ KI er brukt, eller å bekrefte at autorisert generativ KI er brukt og at bruken og oppgivelsen er avtalt med veileder. Bachelor- og masteroppgaver krever en signert erklæring om originalitet, mens kravene til andre skriftlige vurderinger avhenger av gjeldende faglige retningslinjer. Doktorgradskandidater erklærer selvstendig forfatterskap gjennom påmeldingsprosessen til doktorgradseksamen. Tillatt bruk, format for oppgivelse og eventuelle unntak må følge kravene fra relevant veileder og enhet. ETH Zurichs retningslinjer for undervisning instruerer studenter om å være åpne om bruken av generativ KI og å angi hvilke verktøy som bidro til hvilke deler av arbeidet, i samsvar med gjeldende instrukser fra faglærer og sitatkonvensjoner. For vitenskapelig skriving og oppgaver bør studenter på forhånd avtale med veilederne hvilken KI-bruk som er autorisert, og hvilke krav til oppgivelse som gjelder. Retningslinjene fra ETH-biblioteket anerkjenner et unntak der en veileder uttrykkelig har godkjent at en bestemt KI-bruk ikke trenger å oppgis separat. Uten slik avtale kan ikke-oppgitt bruk utgjøre et brudd på akademisk integritet.

Kan jeg laste opp sensitive data?

Opplasting av strengt konfidensiell informasjon til eksterne sky-KI-tjenester er forbudt. Konfidensiell informasjon kan kun behandles i særskilt evaluerte konfigurasjoner (slik som M365 Copilot Work-modus uten nettsøk). M365 Copilot Chat er godkjent for interne data. Googles KI-verktøy er ennå ikke vurdert av CISO (vurdering OPEN) og er ikke frigitt for ETH-konfidensielle, strengt konfidensielle eller beskyttede personopplysninger. Opphavsrett og personvern må respekteres til enhver tid.

Hvilke verktøy har jeg tilgang til?

ETH Zurich anbefaler Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini og Google NotebookLM til undervisningsformål. Grunnleggende chatversjoner er inkludert i institusjonelle abonnementer på Microsoft 365 og Google Workspace uten kostnad for studenter og ansatte. De gir databeskyttelse for bedrifter der brukerdata ikke brukes til modelltrening. Google-verktøyene har ennå ikke fullført CISO-vurderingen (OPEN), så tilgang til et produkt er ikke godkjenning for dataklassifisering. Tilgang til verktøy er ikke det samme som tillatelse i vurderinger. Faglærere avgjør tillatelsene i vurderingene.

Hva er eksamensreglene?

Prestasjonsvurderinger må gjennomføres selvstendig og personlig av studenten. Bruk av uautoriserte hjelpemidler, inkludert generative KI-verktøy som ikke er tillatt av eksaminator, utgjør akademisk fusk som kan medføre disiplinære tiltak i henhold til ETH Zürichs forskrift om disiplinære tiltak.

Hvilke regler gjelder for forskning og publisering?

Forskere og studenter har fullt ansvar for integriteten til sitt vitenskapelige arbeid og må verifisere KI-generert innhold, referanser og fakta. Generative KI-verktøy kan ikke oppføres som forfattere eller siteres som autoritative kilder. Avhandlinger krever signerte originalitetserklæringer; doktorgradskandidater erklærer selvstendig forfatterskap ved oppmelding til doktorgradseksamen. Forskere må overholde gjeldende retningslinjer fra finansiører (f.eks. SNSF) og utgivere.

Hva regnes som akademisk uredelighet?

ETH-biblioteket tilbyr Turnitin Originality til kvalifiserte professorer og forelesere for tekstlikhetssjekk, underlagt dataklassifisering og veiledning om ansvarlig selektiv bruk. Bare offentlige eller interne dokumenter kan lastes opp. Likhetssøk skiller seg fra deteksjon av KI-forfatterskap; ETH Zürich advarer om at teknisk deteksjon av KI-generert materiale er upålitelig og ikke bør behandles som fellende bevis. Brudd på GenAI-retningslinjer, som bruk av uautoriserte hjelpemidler eller unnlatelse av å oppgi bruken av dem, er gjenstand for disiplinære tiltak i henhold til eksisterende regler for prestasjonsvurdering og originalitetserklæringen.

Hvilken veiledning gjelder for undervisning?

Faglærere oppfordres til å tilpasse undervisnings- og vurderingsstrategier til GenAI, diskutere akseptabel bruk med studentene, tydelig formidle hva som er tillatt i hvert emne, og være foregangseksempler ved å gjøre GenAI-bruk synlig i undervisningsmateriell og vurderingsarbeidsflyter, samtidig som de sikrer samsvar med personvernregelverket.

Hvilke krav til sikkerhet og anskaffelser gjelder?

ID CCR Cloud Service Center administrerer institusjonelle AI-skytjenester. Verktøy som mangler skyvurderinger (inkludert tredjepartsverktøy som kommersiell ChatGPT, Claude, DeepSeek, Perplexity, Grok) brukes på brukerens eget ansvar og må aldri behandle konfidensielle, strengt konfidensielle eller beskyttede personopplysninger. Institusjonell tilleggsprogramvare (som Google AI Pro eller M365 Copilot) krever at ansatte anskaffer lisens via IT-Shop; spesifikke gebyr- og finansieringsordninger avhenger av gjeldende organisatoriske prosedyrer.
