Authors submitting to New Educational Approaches must transparently disclose use of AI tools such as large language models or chatbots for generating or editing part of an article in a separate AI-use statement before the references.

For submissions to New Educational Approaches, AI tools are permitted only for improving writing quality, language editing, content organization, or preliminary source review, and they cannot be listed as an author or collaborator.

For New Educational Approaches, reviewers may not upload manuscript text to AI tools or prepare reviews with AI, and editors may not use AI tools to analyze, evaluate, or decide on manuscripts.

The University of Isfahan journal New Educational Approaches states that its AI-tool-use guidance is mandatory for all authors, reviewers, and editors.

New Educational Approaches instructs authors to review AI-tool terms for data privacy and intellectual-property implications before use, and forbids tools that may gain unauthorized access to article content or use it for model training.

New Educational Approaches does not permit generative AI to create, reconstruct, or manipulate article images, diagrams, figures, or other visual elements, except when AI use is part of the research method and fully described.
