The three AI assessment modes are: Can’t Use AI – Independent Demonstration: AI is excluded where its use would undermine evidence of your independent knowledge, skills or judgement. Can Use AI – Open Practice: AI may support your learning and task completion where its use does not undermine the evidence the assessment is intended to collect. Must Use AI – AI Capability Demonstration: AI use is required where AI capability is itself part of the intended learning and you need to demonstrate that capability through the assessment.
