AIが生成した内容を、適切な出典表示なしに提出物へ挿入することは、学術的誠実性の違反にあたります。GSAS 2026–2027の基準では、大学院生は課題や研究でAIを使用する前に関連する教員に相談しなければならず、求められた場合に自身の執筆過程を説明し実証できるよう準備しておく必要があります。ただし、すべての学生に全てのプロンプトを記録することを求める普遍的な要件はありません。懲戒上の対応は規律・懲戒委員会が管理し、学生の書面による陳述は通常2週間以内に提出することになっています。
