The requested resources will be used solely for the research project(s) specified in this request. All required approvals, including IRB or other applicable ethics approvals, have been obtained prior to using these resources. All data stored, processed, or analyzed using these resources has been lawfully obtained and will be handled in accordance with Qatar University's data protection, privacy, and research governance policies. All project members will comply with Qatar University's IT security, acceptable use, and data-handling policies.

Qatar University ITS says to access Gemini Enterprise, visit gemini.qu.edu.qa and log in with Qatar University credentials. The FAQ specifies daily Gemini Enterprise query, research-report, image, video and agent limits and describes optional Outlook, OneDrive and SharePoint connections.

Transparency: Disclosure of any use of generative artificial intelligence tools in the preparation of academic or research work or administrative outputs, and clarification of the scope and extent (including the percentage/level of contribution).

Accuracy and diligence: Reviewing outputs generated by generative artificial intelligence tools, verifying their accuracy and validity, being free from bias, and ensuring their appropriateness before use or publication. Accountability: The University affiliate remains fully responsible for the content produced or used with the assistance of generative artificial intelligence tools.

These instructions apply to all University affiliates and cover all aspects of the use of generative artificial intelligence tools in teaching activities, scientific research, administrative work, technical services, and student services, as well as any other use within the University’s scope, or under the University’s name whether directly or indirectly.
