}旧基线与旧审核记录- clm-ntu-genai-no-authorship — NTU states that generative AI should not be listed as an author of any paper with NTU affiliation, or as a Principal Investigator, Co-PI, or collaborator in research proposals.
- cl-nanyang-technological-university-singapore-ntu-singapore-gemini-71 — Gemini Enterprise is described in NTU’s 6 April 2026 university announcement. Official announcement covers all NTU undergraduates from August 2026; current individual account activation and licence conditions were not independently tested. Follow assessment instructions separately.
- cl-nanyang-technological-university-singapore-ntu-singapore-google-ai-studio-72 — Google AI Studio is described in NTU’s 6 April 2026 university announcement. Official announcement covers all NTU undergraduates from August 2026; current individual account activation and licence conditions were not independently tested. Follow assessment instructions separately.
- cl-nanyang-technological-university-singapore-ntu-singapore-google-vertex-ai-73 — Vertex AI is described in NTU’s 6 April 2026 university announcement. Official announcement covers all NTU undergraduates from August 2026; current individual account activation and licence conditions were not independently tested. Follow assessment instructions separately.
- cl-nanyang-technological-university-singapore-ntu-singapore-institutional-ai-service-74 — NTU AI Learning Assistant (NALA) is described in NTU’s 6 April 2026 university announcement. Educators build and deploy course tutors; availability depends on the applicable course. This does not grant general assessment permission.
- clm-ntu-genai-acknowledge-required — NTU research policy states that GenAI use beyond basic spelling and grammar checks should be acknowledged and cited, identifying the tool’s full name and version, purpose and use in research proposals, manuscripts and scholarly works.
- clm-ntu-genai-nocite-plagiarism — NTU states that not citing or acknowledging the use of generative AI could be considered plagiarism (a form of research misconduct), especially if GenAI was used to generate ideas or for literature reviews.
- clm-ntu-genai-data-privacy — In research, confidential or sensitive information and personal data must not be uploaded to external GenAI platforms unless all applicable conditions are met: compliance with relevant laws and institutional policies; access restricted to authorised study members; no retention of the data in or by the GenAI; and, where applicable, explicit written permission from the data owner or agreement to that GenAI use in the Research Collaboration Agreement.
- clm-ntu-ai-misrepresent-misconduct — NTU Library’s public summary of the 2025 Academic Integrity Handbook states that misrepresenting AI-generated content as one’s own work is academic misconduct. The complete internal handbook was not independently obtained.
- clm-ntu-ai-disclosure-submissions — NTU Library instructs students to disclose AI-tool use in their submissions and follow their module’s AI-use policy and instructor guidance. The required level of documentation and disclosure format depend on the assignment and instructor’s expectations; detailed prompt-and-output records and a particular declaration form are not universal requirements.
- clm-ntu-research-visual-labelling — NTU requires AI-generated research images, figures and videos to be clearly labelled and the methods, tools and parameters documented sufficiently for reproducibility.
- clm-ntu-research-experimental-images — AI-generated research visuals must not be presented as actual experimental data unless AI or AI-assisted tools are an essential component of the research design and/or methodology. Using AI to fabricate images resembling experimental results constitutes serious research misconduct.
- clm-ntu-research-image-modification — NTU prohibits substantive AI modification of genuine experimental images unless clearly described in the methodology.
- clm-ntu-thesis-originality-ai-declaration — From November 2025, NTU’s thesis/dissertation Statement of Originality includes an AI-use disclosure section. The required declarations form part of thesis submission requirements; the source does not establish a single faculty-independent template.
- clm-ntu-coursework-instructor-guidance — NTU Library advises students to check instructor and assignment instructions before using AI because expectations vary by module and discipline.
- clm-ntu-exam-external-resources-restriction — NTU Library instructs students not to access AI tools during examinations when external resources are not permitted. This condition does not establish either a ban in every exam or automatic AI permission in open-resource exams.
- clm-ntu-extensive-ai-instructor-permission — NTU Library instructs students to obtain explicit instructor permission for more extensive AI involvement, such as generating source materials or enhancing visuals.
- clm-ntu-ai-process-records-conditional — For some assignments, instructors may require AI process records. NTU Library’s tracking template may be used or adapted when record-keeping is required or recommended, following the instructor’s format and level of detail.
- clm-ntu-research-stricter-recipient-rules — When an agency, journal or other receiving party has GenAI rules that differ from NTU research policy, researchers should follow the stricter rules.
- clm-ntu-education-assignment-statement-20250624 — NTU’s dated 24 June 2025 statement says GenAI is generally permitted in assignments, but professors may prohibit it for specific pedagogical reasons communicated to students. Students are expected to declare use and how it was used, and remain responsible for accuracy and citations. This is a dated institutional statement, not the complete current internal teaching policy or permission for every assessment.
- clm-ntu-research-misconduct-referral — The Vice President (Research) reviews the RIO preliminary report and may take appropriate action, decide whether to invite the Provost to appoint a COI for faculty/research staff, or decide whether to refer a student to the Board of Discipline. This is a research-misconduct process, not an automatic AI penalty or a finding of guilt.
The complete 2025 Academic Integrity Handbook and internal teaching policy were not obtained; public Library summaries retain their own authority.
The original AI-detector guidance URL returns 404; no current replacement covering all historical assertions was obtained. The original claim is held in history, not treated as withdrawn policy.
Google tool access is verified as an undergraduate announcement, not as a live personal account activation or assessment permission.
Course-specific exam rules and complete disciplinary/appeal procedures remain unverified.
