UNSW College says students may use AI for an assessment only when the instructions in the Course Outline permit its use.

UNSW College says students permitted to use AI for an assessment must acknowledge and reference the AI tool using the referencing style for their course and program.

UNSW College recommends Microsoft Copilot with Commercial Data Protection as the generative AI platform for coursework or assessment when generative AI use is allowed.
