SGGW publishes Rector Ordinance No. 93 on the principles for using generative artificial intelligence tools in the works of persons undergoing education at the university.
SGGW says a learner may not submit personal data, legally protected secrets, third-party copyrighted works, or SGGW commercialization-related creative-result data to publicly available generative AI tools.
SGGW requires learners using generative AI in their work to openly indicate the form and scope of use and mark generated text fragments or objects; content generated with AI but not indicated is not recognized as content created by the learner.
SGGW requires course tutors to establish and communicate rules for using generative AI tools in courses, including interim and final work used to verify learning outcomes.
SGGW Circular Letter No. 9 says unmodified generative-AI output included in work should be quoted or otherwise distinguished and given a note identifying the tool; the work should also include a separate literature-list section for generative AI tools used.
