University AI Policy Tracker
About the project
A Canadian public-interest EdTech initiative operated by an independent company.
University AI Policy Tracker was founded in Canada in May 2026 and is operated by a small independent Canadian company. It builds open, source-backed infrastructure to help students, educators and researchers find, compare and cite university AI policies.
The project is operated on a public-interest, non-commercial basis. Its public datasets, APIs, reports and read-only MCP access make published institutional AI rules easier to verify and use.

How we use agents
Claude, Codex and other AI tools support product development, official-source discovery and review, structured evidence extraction, translation drafts and policy audits. Our workflow has used Claude Code and Antigravity; tools vary by task.
HTTP fetches, browser tools and Firecrawl collect source material. Agents help organize and review it. A generated answer is not a university policy: published claims must remain tied to original quotations, source URLs, snapshot hashes and explicit review states.

Sources, review and publication
New findings enter staging as candidates. Review checks wording, audience, policy scope, exceptions and dates before promotion to a public release. Original-language evidence remains canonical; translations and summaries help readers navigate it.
Source text, hashes and review records support change tracking and reproducibility. Contact us with an official source or a correction; avoid sending private student records or confidential documents.
